We have some wonderfully talented visiting artists teaching in our classroom this summer!

First up...

Neenah artist and art advocate Michelle Sharp is teaching the class Carved Eraser Stamps on Friday June 20th and you won't want to miss this one! While the materials may be simple, using easily carved erasers is a wonderful introduction to relief printmaking. From simple embellishments for stationary to miniature masterpieces worthy of framing, students in this class will have an inspired studio session learning important material manipulation skills and printmaking concepts. Michelle is an engaging teacher who has taught her popular classes to all ages across the state of Wisconsin.

The ease of use and high contrast of charcoal makes it a wonderful medium for capturing dramatic value and form. Green Bay artist Will Dickinson will teach an all day intensive class, Introduction to Charcoal on Saturday, June 28th. Will's impressive artistic skills is matched by his equally effective and popular teaching style. Students are sure to leave class with important skills they need to capture realistic form and light in their artworks. This class is perfect for beginning artists, those seeking a refresher, or anyone who is looking to spend the day making art!
